Robert regularly performs on keyboard instruments of every style and epoch. He has been heard on numerous historical organs at festivals and concert series such as the Melzower Sommerkonzerte, the Moments Musicaux à Notre Dame du Taur, Toulouse, the Concerts d’orgue Voiron, the Musikfest Bremen and others.
Robert takes particular pleasure in developing concert programs especially for a certain instrument. In doing so, he is happy to learn new pieces for a particular performance or premiere newly composed works.

Ensembles

Siderea Musica, Duo Duscher Selinger, Schwanenberg Duo

With his ensembles, Robert has performed in a wide variety of sometimes unusual settings. Educational programs, especially those of the Schwanenberg Duo, emphasize musical outreach and communication. Robert’s ensemble Siderea Musica is flexible in size and instrumentation according to its repertoire, which ranges from chamber music of the Renaissance and Bach cantatas all the way to large orchestral projects.

Robert takes pride in his work as a performance practice coach for beginners, experienced historically informed musicians and everyone in between. Through mindful dialogue, he can impart foundational skills as well as special expertise, whether the goal is to refine a single piece or role or develop career prospects in the field of early music. His guiding belief in this work is that anyone who really wants to can become a specialist.
